I am now looking for participants to share their stories and experiences of their Filipinx identity in Canada.

Participants must:
+ be of Filipinx descent (mixed race Pinays and Pinoys welcome!)
+ be available to be photographed and interviewed for the project
+ be able to meet in downtown Ottawa
All are welcome to apply to participate, regardless of citizenship or residency status.

Conti lang ng tagalog ko, so interviews will be conducted in English.  Pero, if your lola, lolo or other family member would like to participate in their native language or dialect and someone they’re comfortable with is available to translate, please get in touch on their behalf; I would be more than happy to accommodate!

Participation will involve an interview and portrait photoshoot at a meeting space in downtown Ottawa. The interview and shoot will take up to two hours in total.

As a thank you, all participants will receive a digital file and an 5×7″ archival print of a portrait from their shoot. Photos from the shoot will be used in large scale collage works to re-tell the stories collected through the interview process.

Please click the button below to express your interest in participating in the project. I will reply to all who apply, but due to time and budget restraints, not everyone can be selected at this time.
